- Information on the consumer buyer’s right of withdrawal
Effective from: 01 July 2026
This information notice sets out the rules for exercising the right of withdrawal in relation to contracts concluded between Nexus Electro kft. (hereinafter: the Company) and buyers qualifying as consumers through the www.nexuselectro.hu online store.
The right of withdrawal is governed in particular by Government Decree No. 45/2014 (II. 26.), Act V of 2013 on the Civil Code, and other applicable consumer protection legislation.

1.1 Right of withdrawal
1.1.2. The consumer is entitled to withdraw from a contract concluded through the online store without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is 14 calendar days from the date on which the product is received.
If the consumer has ordered several products as part of a single order and these products are delivered at different times, the withdrawal period begins on the date on which the last product is received.
1.1.3. Exercising the right of withdrawal
The consumer may exercise the right of withdrawal within the 14-day period by making an unequivocal statement.
The withdrawal statement may be submitted:
- via the online withdrawal form available in the online store;
- by e-mail to karoly.kovacs@nexuselectro.hu;
- by post, by sending the statement to 6771 Szeged, Sarkantyú utca 107;
- or by using the model withdrawal form.
If the consumer uses the online withdrawal form, the Company will acknowledge receipt of the statement electronically without undue delay.
1.2. Returning the product
In the event of withdrawal, the consumer must return the product or hand it back in person without undue delay, but no later than 14 days from the date on which the withdrawal statement is communicated.
The deadline shall be deemed to have been met if the consumer sends the product before the expiry of the 14-day period.
The product must be returned properly packaged and free from damage.
1.3. Cost of return
The direct cost of returning the product shall be borne by the consumer.
The Company is not obliged to accept parcels sent cash on delivery.
1.4. Refund of the purchase price
The Company shall refund the total amount paid by the consumer, including the cost of delivery, no later than 14 days from the date on which the withdrawal is communicated.
The Company is entitled to withhold the refund until
- it has received the product back, or
- the consumer has provided credible proof that the product has been returned,
- whichever occurs first.
If the consumer has chosen a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery method offered by the Company, the Company is not obliged to reimburse the resulting additional costs.
The refund shall be made using the same payment method as the original transaction, unless the parties agree otherwise.
1.5. Consumer liability
The consumer shall only be liable for any diminished value of the product resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product.
1.6. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The consumer shall not be entitled to exercise the right of withdrawal, in particular, in the following cases:
- in the case of a non-prefabricated product made on the basis of the consumer’s instructions or explicit request;
- in the case of a product personalised for the consumer or made to individual dimensions;
- in the case of a sealed product which is not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed;
- in any other case excluded by applicable legislation.
Products manufactured, modified or adjusted to size by Nexus Electro kft. according to the customer’s individual requirements are not considered prefabricated products; therefore, under applicable law, the right of withdrawal without giving any reason cannot be exercised in respect of such products.

The Company shall investigate and respond to all enquiries received in accordance with the applicable legislation.
